True Beauty

As women, we are bombarded with images of the perfect woman. We are brainwashed into thinking that we have to look exactly like what we see. Having these 'canons of perfection' everywhere we look can make us feel terrible about ourselves. But we need to remember that true beauty is so much more than what is on the surface.

I recently read about 2 absolutely beautiful, amazing inspiring women:

I'm sure you know who Stephanie Nielson is by now. You might know her as Nie Nie.

In 2008, she and her husband were both severely burned when the light plane they were in crashed in Arizona. She escaped the plane with more than 80 percent of her body burned.

After months of excruciating pain and recovery, she finally decided to look at her face. Holding a mirror, she started at her neck, not recognizing it. The reaction was the same from her chin all the way up to her eyes.

"I looked at myself and I saw God in my eyes," Stephanie said. "It was as if he was looking right back at me, and he was saying, 'Everything is just fine. You can see yourself, and I can see you. I know who you are, and you're beautiful to me."

The next beautiful woman is Irena Sendler. During WWII, Irena worked in the Warsaw Ghetto as a plumbing/sewer specialist. Irena smuggled Jewish children out; infants in the bottom of the tool box she carried and older children in a burlap sack she carried in the back of her truck. She also had a dog in the back that she trained to bark when the Nazi soldiers let her in and out of the ghetto. The soldiers wanted nothing to do with the dog, and the barking covered the kids’ and infants’ noises. Irena managed to smuggle out and save 2500 children.

She eventually was caught, and the Nazis broke both her legs, arms and beat her severely. Irena kept a record of the names of all the kids she smuggled out and kept them in a glass jar buried under a tree in her backyard. After the war, she tried to locate any parents that may have survived and reunited some of the families. Most had been killed. She helped those children get placement into foster family homes or adopted.

A couple of years ago, Irena was up for the Nobel Peace Prize. Unfortunately, she lost to Al Gore.

Now that is true beauty. Someone brave enough to stand up for others. You can't tell me that when you look at this sweet woman, you don't see true beauty.

My purpose in this post is to just remind all of us that we shouldn't get so caught up in image and vanity. True Beauty is inside of us and is one of the most important things we an possess. I am grateful each and every day for a Father in Heaven who loves me and has given me talents and gifts to share with others.

Remember that beauty isn't in your measurements, it's not how long your hair is or how thick your lashes are. True beauty is what is inside of you. It's how you live your life, how you treat others and how happy you are.

Trick-or-Treat

Can my little Harrison really be old enough to go trick-or-treating? Going around with him from house to house was the cutest thing. I loved watching him pick out his own candy- he never chose what I wanted him to. Watching him walk up the sidewalk just put a big smile on my face. I look forward to the many more Halloweens to come with my little guy.

Stretchy Pants

Being a stay at home mom has it's pros and cons. Some pros include being able to play with your son, being outside in the sun and getting some "me" time during nap time. Pros are laundry- it never ends, feeling like you aren't contributing to society and little adult interaction. There is one thing that is giving me problems and it falls under both categories: Stretchy Pants. They are a pro because hey, there are days when you just throw them on and get your work done. Why would stretchy pants be a con? I'll tell you- they make you fat!! Yep. They do. After months of wearing my stretchy pants I have gained some weight. When you put them on you have no idea that your thighs might be expanding (like mine). I put on my black pencil skirt for church on Sunday and it was snug. It has never been snug. It was a big eye opener. So.... no more stretchy pants for me! My diet starts tomorrow :)

Feeling Inadequate

We all go thru times when we just don't feel good enough. I am stuck in one of those ruts. I feel like I can't get anything right. There are days I don't feel like a good mother, wife, housekeeper- everything. Do I even have talent? Maybe it's just the weather, maybe I need a really great vacation. Whatever the reason, I am blue. Please leave me some words of encouragement!

Pump It!

Working out can be so rewarding- once you get the motivation to get up off the couch! Tonight I actually did it! I left Brian and Harrison at home and headed off to Crossroads fitness. It felt amazing to push play on the Ipod and just pump it! I felt like I was the only one there. What would we do without our Ipods? It would be really hard for me to get going. Music can just get the blood boiling and revving to go. My recommended song for an intense, dare I say extreme, workout? Imma Be by the Black Eyed Peas. Download it and you won't be sorry! Hopefully I can keep the momentum going!

Making Changes

Yes I know, New Years was a month and ago, but it's never too late for resolutions!
I have been making changes here and there. The first place is my living room. Strange, I know. You probably expected something like weight loss. Don't worry- I'll get to that. Back to the living room.... I have never loved my living room. It's only been so so for me. I decided that I really need to get it to where I like it. It's the room I spend most of the day in with Harrison, so it needs to be enjoyable. I also want it to be a pretty, calming room for Brian to come home to at night. So why not change it up and make it a place I really want to be. I'll probably be happier and more productive. I am currently in the process of a re-do. So far, so good. I'll post pics when it is all done.

My second change is fitness. Let's face it, we all could do better with taking care of our bodies. I could do a LOT better! I really need to get into gear. Brian and I are going to join over at Ogden Athletic club this month. I am pretty excited. One of the biggest motivators for me is just feeling tired all the time. I can't stand it! Other motivators- jiggling thighs, tight jeans and The Sleeping Beauty. The Sleeping Beauty? Yes. I made Brian to the ballet with me this weekend. You should know that I secretly want to be a ballerina. And secretly I think that I probably would have made a really good one. You can laugh now, as long as you aren't making fun of me :) But watching the ballet made me really want to tone it up- they are so long and lean! So after we get over our colds, it's off to the gym! I'll keep ya posted on my fitness progress.

Last change (for now) is incorporating more gospel discussions in our house. We haven't really done FHE, but now that Harrison is getting older, I realize we really need to get in gear. Not just for him, but for us. Having gospel discussions in our homes is so important. It invites the spirit, increases our knowledge and helps us grow closer to our Father in Heaven and our Savior.

I've got some changes happening in my life and it feels great. I'll try to keep updating you all about how things are going. I'll need your support to keep me going! Wish me luck!

California

Well, it's been about a month since I last posted. It's been a while because I thought that no one really cared about my blog anymore. No comments= no readers in my book. But I have been requested to make a post, so I guess there are some people who care about our happenings.

This past weekend we went down to California for Jeff and Amanda's sealing. The trip was a fairly complicated one, but well worth it in the end. We were able to be there for Jeff and Amanda on their big day. It was a beautiful sealing in the Newport temple. I just love sealings. It always reminds me of my wedding day and being sealed to my best friend!
We also got to go to the beach. It was Harrison's first time and he loved it. We had to drag him away kicking and screaming! The weather was absolutely gorgeous- we couldn't have asked for anything better. I found my bliss laying on the sand.
Our last day we went to Griffith Park. Harrison went on a pony ride there. He was a little nervous at first, then loved it. He had a ton of fun, but was pretty worn out and tired at the end of the trip (me, too). It was fun to have a good little trip, but it also feels great to be at home.

So I am alive. I just haven't been in blogging mode. Life has been flying by- but I am loving it. Harrison gets more fun everyday. He is such a little joker. Love him to death!
We are getting very excited for Christmas. I just can't wait. Having a little boy makes the Holiday season magical again. I already got Harrison's Christmas shopping done. Now I just have to get everything else done. I have "the list" made. It's just a matter of getting it done.

I have been holding on to summer. I am going to flat out say it- I am depressed at even the thought of snow. Usually, I don't mind the winter too much. But this year I don't even want to think about it. You know what I am talking about- cold, dark, yucky and don't forget that you have to constantly dodge germs! You know when February comes around and you think that you just can't make it another day? Sometimes I get jealous of bears- they get to sleep through the winter!

I do realize that there is no getting around my most loathed of all seasons. So I decided to come up with a solution to my winter-induced depression. I need a cold season hobby. I have turned my love of the outdoors, namely flowers, into something I can do indoors. My new venture is making accessories- headbands, rings, scarves, belts, etc. with flower flair. I am hoping to sell them, because what am I going to do with all dozens of little flowers? I am calling my little "keep myself busy" business- blum.

Baby Steps...part 2

So my little Harrison is at a standstill with the walking. He will try for a couple days, then gives up. He reverts back to crawling. I think he thinks crawling is more a more effective way of transportation. It's faster, he doesn't fall down... who knows what he is really thinking. All I know is that it is time to walk. He is now 14 months. Don't most babies walk by now? Am I doing something wrong? Should I be working with him more?

So, for all you moms out there- when did your little ones begin the walking and did you do anything to help?

Baby Steps

Harrison has begun to try out walking. I am so proud of him. Today he has been trying to get from point A to point B by taking baby steps. He takes a couple, regains his balance and then goes for a couple more. The big smile on his face tells me that he really likes it. I love to see him experience new things. He is gaining confidence and it won't be long until he is walking all over!!

Domestic Diva- cupcakes!

A few months ago I posted about becoming a Domestic Diva. I promised to tell of my adventures of developing my skills as a homemaker. Well, I never posted. I am a slacker. I have done things to rise to my potential greatness at home, but never gave an update. But I will be better.

Yesterday I made cupcakes- and I decorated them!! I got a frosting decorator for my wedding, and yesterday was my first time using it (yep, in 3 years). It was pretty fun. I know I have a lot of practicing to do, but I think they are pretty cute for my first time. What do you think?

Can it be a year already?

Wow! How time flies. Has it already been a whole year since I held my little boy in my arms for the first time? Since he wrapped his little hand around my finger? Since I looked into those eyes and knew that my life would never be the same again? Where does the time go? Looking at pictures of my newborn little Harrison is so bittersweet. He has grown and changed so much since he was so tiny. I miss holding that cuddly baby. We used to fall asleep together in the rocking chair. His head would be on my chest. I miss those days. But now that he is older, we have so much more fun. We talk, we giggle, we tickle, we hug, we chase the dog. Harrison is becoming so smart. He knows so many words. He is almost saying "bye-bye" fully. He isn't walking quite yet- he is a pretty fast crawler. All of the changes in him seem so amazing to me. I say to myself, "I created this perfect little person" and it is just unbelievable. It seems like such a miracle. I am so thankful to be Harrison's mommy. So thankful that I get to share all of these moments with him. I get to watch him experience the world for the first time, see new things. It's the most amazing thing that a person can experience. I thank my Heavenly Father everyday for such a wonderful baby boy!

So it's been a little while since I have posted. What can I say? There hasn't been much going on other than life with an 11 month old!!
I have been getting the garden ready.... I am a bit obsessed with it. We finally got our vegetables in yesterday. I can't wait to reap the benefits!!
Harrison is just doing more and more things everyday. It is so much fun to watch your baby grow and get smarter! It's the most amazing thing. I can't believe he turns one this month! Time sure flies. We have been planning his birthday party. It is going to be so much fun!

Spring Fever!!

So every year about this time, I get a huge case of Spring Fever!! I feel the need for warmth, sunshine, color and most of all.... flowers!! As many of you know, I love flowers. I can't get enough. Since I was a little girl, I have loved gardening. I get it from both sides. My maternal grandparents are 85 and still work in the garden! I had my wedding reception in their backyard and it was beautiful!! My fraternal grandparents always grew delicious fruits and veggies. So I feel like it is in my blood. I think I do a pretty good job, but I know that I have a lot to learn.
But back to spring fever... I am craving plants. I can't plant anything outside yet. It's too cold. But I must fulfill this important need somehow. So what do I do? I plant seeds! I start my own little seedlings now, to plant outside later. Brian hates it, because it means that our kitchen is full of little containers of dirt for a couple months. ( I have been starting my own plants every year since we got married.) But I love it! There is nothing like seeing a little green stem pop out of a little container of dirt!! Today my cosmos popped thru. My cucumbers are about 2 inches tall now. I am still waiting for my four o'clocks to grace me with their presence. I may not be able to have a full fledged garden now, but my little seedlings are holding me over until I can!
I have also been planning out what I want to plant in my beds, pots and hanging baskets. So many decisions!! There are so many flowers and combinations that I love! It makes it so difficult to settle on things!
All in all, spring is just around the corner! I can't wait to get my hands dirty!

So my little Harrison has done so many things within the last week:

~He got his first little tooth
~He is full blown crawling! And is in to everything!
~He pulls himself up on his feet. Holds on to furniture. Every time I get him up from his nap, there he is standing and waiting!
~He has always "talked", but lately he is a motor mouth. My personal favorite is "mamamama". I'd like to think that he is calling me mama!

California!

This past week we took quick trip to California for Brian's brother's wedding. It was so much fun. The weather was beautiful and things couldn't have been better. Okay, they could have. If only I wasn't miserable with a head cold. But other than that, it was all fabulous. The wedding was wonderful. I absolutely love weddings. They always remind me of my own wedding day and all of the moments I shared with Brian. I just love him so much.
To make the trip even better, Brian's mom took us all to Disneyland for a day. Harrison loved it. There was so much for him to take in! His favorite ride was Pirates of the Caribbean!

So writing is therapeutic, right? Well, here we go because I need therapy! I am struggling. I feel like I have post post post-partum depression or something! Let me know if any other stay at home moms have felt this way: You went from working at a job you were really good at, being praised and talking to a lot of different people to being at home all day- alone. You don't get acknowledged, you don't feel like you are doing anything right and you start to feel like you have no talents. Am I the only one who has struggled with this?

Don't get me wrong, I love being a mom. I really do. Harrison lights up my life. When he smiles, I just melt. And it's not everyday that I struggle, it comes and goes. I just feel like I need to know that this is normal, that others have been in the same boat. Please leave me a comment if you've ever felt this way!

Domestic Diva

Lately I have been a little down on myself. I feel like I don't really have all that many talents and skills- other than being an excellent driver :). And I've always wanted to become a domestic diva- that woman who does it all- sews, cooks, cleans, makes her home a haven for her fabulous family all while being a total babe. I think we all know someone like that. And I got to thinking, she didn't get to be that way over night. She had to start somewhere, right? And if she could do it, I can do it! Thus begins my journey on becoming a domestic diva!

Halloween Fun!

This Halloween we went to a little family get together. It was pretty fun. My favorite part about Halloween this year was Harrison. I loved seeing him in his little costume. He looked so cute! One of my favorite things about being a mom is the holidays. Having a little one makes holidays so exciting again. I can't wait 'til Christmas!

Rolling over!!

Harrison has become a rolling-over machine!! He rolled over from his back to his tummy the other day and now he won't stop. He is an animal! This morning I went to get him out of his crib, and there he was on his stomach!

Then today I had him laying on a blanket while I did a few things around the house and when I came back, there he was chilling out on his tummy!

It is pretty crazy how proud of him I am!! He is growing so fast and I love getting to witness all of his "firsts".

Not a ton has been going on here lately. Just living life day to day. Harrison is growing up so much every day. In fact, the other day he rolled over! Is that normal for a 3 month old? He just amazes me at how strong he is. Here are a few pics of recent happenings

I decided to make grape juice again this year. It is so much work. Every time I make it, I wonder if it is worth all the time and work. But then I have a sip and it all pays off!

Two Months Old!!

Harrison is now 2 months old!! I love the little guy so much. I can't believe how much he has changed over the last few weeks. He smiles so much and is starting to coo at me. He makes my little heart melt!

On Sunday we went down to temple square. I absolutely love it there. It is so beautiful and inspiring. I hope to have a garden as beautiful someday!

A few things...

Today is my anniversary! Two years....time sure flies! I have loved every minute with Brian and just love him more and more every day!

I am loving being a mom! Harrison is my pride and joy. He makes me smile constantly. When he smiles, I just light up. I never thought I could love someone so much, so fast. He grows so much everyday.

I have to go back to work next week- yuck. I don't know how I am going to leave my little boy. It makes me want to cry just thinking about it. Luckily, a good friend will be taking care of him, so I know he is in good hands.

Lately I have loved taking pictures of nature. The earth is so beautiful! I absolutely love flowers and the mountains. I love these pics, I hope you enjoy them to :)

New Diet

My gallbladder attacks are triggered by what I eat, so now I am on a low-fat diet. Until I have my surgery next week I can't have anything that is too fatty. My diet consists of fruits, veggies, breads and limited amounts of chicken. I do love these things, but they aren't enough! I want french fries! I want a steak! I want ice cream!! Low-fat is really hard for a girl who loves fast food! But I am hanging in there- the upside is that I am losing a little weight :) So one more week and then I am grabbing some cookies!

Surgery

Well, I have to have my gallbladder taken out!

The last week I have had these severe attacks of pain in my chest and back. The pain is so awful that I can't do anything. Brian took me to the instacare and I had an ultrasound. The diagnosis: gallstones. I guess that it is really common to develop gallstones during pregnancy. We women sure go through a lot to bring these little babies into the world. So in about 2 weeks, I have to have surgery. I am a little nervous, but glad to know that after it is out I won't have the pain. In the meantime, I am so afraid of having another attack. They say that eating fatty foods triggers the attacks, so I am trying to eat really low fat foods. Knowing I can't have certain foods makes me want them even more! I want ice cream, steak and french fries!

The surgery is pretty simple. It is an outpatient procedure and I will be home in a few hours. It makes me happy to know that I am not going to have to stay overnight.

So that is today's update. Wish it was about something else!

Evening Walk

We have gotten in the habit of taking walks over at the South Ogden Nature Park. We love it over there. Jack runs everywhere- Last week he chased some pheasants. I really like it because I get to be with my little family and it is helping me get back into shape. Here are a few pics-

Brian and I are proud to announce the birth of our little boy! On June 23, 2009, after 16 hours of labor, Harrison came into this world at 10:28 pm! He weighed 9 pounds and was 21 inches long. He is such a beautiful little boy. We are enjoying having him here with us and look forward to all the good times in store. We are very grateful that everything went well and that both he and mom are healthy and doing great.

Midnight

So, the induction last week didn't go over too well. After ten hours of contractions, baby decided he wasn't ready to come into this world. So I was sent home. It was a long day and hard to come home without a baby.
But the here is the good news- I am going in again tonight to be induced. I get to go back at midnight. So hopefully sometime in the early hours of the morning, baby Harrison will come into our lives!

I went to the doctor today and had a great appointment! Why? Because he said that he can induce me next week! So on Wednesday, it's off to the hospital I go to have a little baby boy! I am so excited. I just can't wait. The fun part will be that it's also Brian's birthday! So he will be getting the best birthday present ever! Wish me luck!

37 WEEKS!

So I am now 37 weeks along in this pregnancy! Yay! It feels good to know that I am so close to meeting this little guy! It's a little scary- everything is going to be so new, but I know that it will be amazing!
Speaking of amazing.... yesterday I had a prenatal massage. It was absolute heaven! If you are pregnant, or when you become pregnant, you must get one! It was the best feeling to lay on my stomach and have all the pressure relieved. I wish I could have one everyday!!

Feeling Huge

I had another doctor's appointment today. I get to go every two weeks now. Baby's estimated weight- 5 pounds 11 ounces! Huge! I think that has to be an underestimate because I feel huge, I look huge and I am just plain HUGE! Sleep is impossible and my feet retain so much water! I can't wait to meet this little boy!

Setting Up The Nursery

We have begun to get baby's room ready! I am so excited. Today Brian put the crib together, with a little help from me. We haven't got all the bedding on yet. I won't get that until one of my baby showers. But it is still pretty exciting. Tomorrow we are getting the dresser! Then I can put all of baby's clothes away. And boy does he have a ton of clothes! My sister in law, Jacki, gave us all sorts of hand-me-downs! Our boy is going to have a new outfit for every day of the year!

San Diego

Last week we went to sunny San Diego! We had so much fun with Brian's family. It was so hard to come back. Of course, Brian and I took plenty of pictures. It was hard for me to narrow it down, so here are a few....

Sea World:

I love the penguins! I want one!

The Sea Lions were so funny! They were very vocal.

San Diego Zoo:
Brian loves gorillas. He got some good video.

The pandas were so playful! Another animal I would like to add to my menagerie!

All the Koala's were curled up and sleeping- I want to hold one so bad!

Who doesn't love a meerkat? They were great at posing for the camera.

I need a new post! So I thought that I would just say that today was beautiful and I am so excited for Spring! I can't wait for flowers and birds and all that good stuff!!!

This Saturday we went down to Sandy to visit my family. Brian and I took the kids to the playground and later that night we all went bowling. It was a ton of fun! I got the highest score I might add!

That is a 10x size shirt! It was huge! I guess bowlers aren't the most fit!

We also went to Wheeler Farm with Brian's family. It was so much fun! Even Jack got to go! I loved seeing all the animals, especially the babies. I decided that I want my own farm- without the work, of course! We got to see all the animals and go on a little hayride! The funniest moment was when Jack got attacked by a big white goose!

The Logan Temple

Brian and I had the opportunity to attend our friend's temple sealing today. It was a beautiful ceremony and reminded me of the day Brian and I were married. The temple is such a spiritual place, that gives so much comfort. I know that I need to go more! I am so grateful for my membership in the church and for Brian! I am so thankful I can be with him forever!

He's Quite The Kicker!

Well, I sure can feel this baby kicking! He's been kicking for a couple of weeks now and it is crazy!

It is such a strange and exciting experience! Every night, without fail at around nine, I feel those kicks. I think it freaked Brian out the first time he felt it. I told him, "how do you think it feels when it's inside you?" But I think he really likes it now. I can tell he is so excited to be a dad. I know he will make a great one.

Over the long weekend, we took a trip to Vegas! It was so much fun. We went to the aqauriam at Mandalay Bay- the sharks were awesome. We also met Neil Diamond! Okay, he was an impersonator and his real name was Jay White, but he rocked! He looked and sounded just like him!!! Here are a few pictures of the trip... also, note that I am getting a little baby belly!

It's A Boy!

Well, I had my 14 week appointment yesterday and we found out that it's a boy! We are both so excited! Brian is especially excited to have a little buddy to watch basketball with. Things are getting better for me. My morning sickness is starting to die down (thank heavens!) and I am starting to get more of my energy back. Things are going good. We couldn't be happier!

Well, I guess I should announce it to the world! I am pregnant! I am due June 21! Brian and I are so excited. It has been hard- I have had morning sickness, but it has been getting better!

Last week Brian and I were visiting my parents in Sandy and decided to check out the Draper Temple. It was so pretty! I really want to go to the Open House. I wish I could just explore inside!

Heber Creeper

This weekend, Brian and I went on the old Heber Creeper. It was on a trip called "The Haunted Canyon." We went with Brian's family and it was a lot of fun. You ride up the canyon on the train and you are told ghost stories, and you can see scenes outside the train. Then on the way back down, "ghosts" from the stories were on the train to scare you. My favorite part was just being on a cool old train. Here are some pictures. I was a little disappointed that I couldn't get better pictures because it was so dark.

This weekend we went camping near Mirror Lake. It is so pretty up there. I love the mountains! It was pretty, but it sure was cold! Luckily we had a little heater that we could put in the tent. The lake was so fun. We had a little mishap there. Brian and I were out in the raft and Jack decided to swim out to us. He got in the raft and was enjoying himself until some guy cast his fishing lure about five feet away from the raft. Jack saw the little bubble on the line and thought, "ball!" He jumped out of the raft (soaking me) and went after the line. As you would know it, he got hooked. It hooked to him on the piece of skin between the hind leg and stomach. We had to push it through his skin to cut off the barb. Luckily, he wasn't hurt. In fact, he was oblivious to the fact that he had a hook in him! The guy who did it didn't even care! Brian was not happy! There were a few words said..... but I won't focus on that.

All in all, it was a fun trip! Here are a few pictures....

One Year Anniversary!

Saturday, August 9, was our first anniversary! The year seemed to just fly by! It has been such a wonderful time and I am so grateful to have Brian in my life! He is my best friend and I love him so much!

Being in that newlywed way (poor) we decided to go down to Temple Square and have fun. We went and ate at the Lion House and just enjoyed being on the temple grounds.

I love the Salt Lake Temple so much. I just love the flowers.

It was so much fun seeing all the brides and grooms and thinking about us the year before!

This year has been great and I look forward to all the anniversaries we will have in the future!

Primary

I am loving Primary! It has been really fun so far! We had the kids sing those cute songs about Dads on Father's Day and it was the cutest thing ever! The kids are so willing to answer questions, share stories and pretty much comment on everything. I wish that the 13 year olds I taught in Sunday School would have been as cooperative.

I get to do my first sharing time in a couple of weeks and I am both excited and nervous, but I know it will all go well.... with the help of the fabulous websites recommended to me!

New Calling

So I got myself a new calling...
I am now the first counselor in the Primary Presidency in my ward and wondering if anyone had any advice or good primary ideas for sharing time or activities. I am totally new at this, so I am a little nervous, but also excited. It will be really fun to work with all the cute little kids!

So here we are at the Bees Game a few weeks ago. I got free tickets thru work and thought it would be a fun idea. Didn't really work out that way.... we parked at the Lowe's down the street and when we came back to the car- it had been towed! I was so dang mad! I am embarrassed to say that a few words flew out of my mouth that shouldn't have! We ended up having to walk like 8 blocks to the tow place and it cost us $244! So the free game wasn't so free!
